About Us

Our goal and policy is to treat our clients as we would treat our families, and to treat our client’s pets as though they were our own. Our clients and patients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here. At all times, our clients and patients will be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Being of service to our clients and patients is the definition of our purpose and the mission of our practice.

It starts at the top!

Led by Dr. Dan Markwalder, we’re a team of veterinary professionals that go above and beyond for your family. The health and well-being of your pet is our top priority.

What we’re all about:

Wonderful clinics

Five convenient locations throughout the Western Suburbs.

Years Experience

Our veterinarians LOVE what they do (and they’ve been at it for a while!)

Adoptable Pets Cared For

We’ve provided care for thousands of pets adopted by rescues & shelters.

We believe in a Fear Free experience.

Vet visits can be challenging or even downright impossible for pets prone to fear and anxiety. Furthermore, they simply don’t understand what is going on and are limited in how they can communicate their feelings. The best we can do for our animal friends is to take steps to reduce their fear by helping them associate vet visits with positive things, like treats and cuddles.

We love our community.

Our dedication for animals transcends the work we do for your pets in our clinics. We also strive to give back to the community by working with pet rescues and non-profits in the Chicagoland area. Below is a handful of those we work with. Learn more about these wonderful causes and how you can help, too!
